Help Mike Kunicki join the Edmonton Transit Riders (ETR) board

Over the past 5-10 years, I have really taken alternative transportation options seriously in my own life in Edmonton or when traveling aboard! I am taking the next step and applying to join the Edmonton Transit Riders (ETR) board. ETR started in 2023 with their public launch in 2024. Edmonton Transit Riders is a local non-profit organization made up of passionate community builders and frequent transit riders, advocating for a transit system that gets the funding, care, and attention that it deserves. We strongly believe in the power of community members coming together to bring positive change to our city and want to see a strong public transit system that supports all Edmontonians.

I specifically have been working since Christmas 2025 on developing the Transit Tracker project (off an open source project by some Seattle urbanists). I want to continue that as a board member to take the concept into public spaces - lowering the barriers to Transit use!

Tuesday, March 31, 2026: Last day to become a member to qualify to vote at the AGM! It is FREE, all you need to do is to sign up for the newsletter!
Tuesday, April 7, 2026 AT 7:00PM: Attend the virtual AGM via link you will be provided! Mike will be attending from the PWHL game, you can join from anywhere. You can leave once the board vote happens! Mike has a April 7th google calendar you can join HERE!
