Why did you send me this link, Mike?

I believe that a world-class transit system is the heartbeat of a thriving city. Over the last decade, I’ve made alternative transportation a core priority in my life, and I’m ready to apply my professional experience in community mobilization and operations to help the ETR grow.

I bring a deep background in people-focused environments, including co-managing successful and large-scale election campaigns. I specialize in turning community energy into organized results. This includes managing budgets over $100k and training teams of hundreds of volunteers. I understand the behind-the-scenes work required to keep a volunteer-run organization impactful, inclusive and credible.

I’m also a builder. Since late 2025, I’ve been developing the Transit Tracker project (adapted from open-source project from Seattle) to take the guesswork out of our commutes. As a board member, I will work to move these into private and public spaces, lowering barriers and increasing awareness for every rider.

I believe in building pride in Edmonton while having fun doing it. I co-organized the Valley Line SE LRT opening party in November 2023 because transit is about the people who use it every day.

If elected, I will contribute:

Community Leadership: Proven experience in volunteer engagement and large-scale outreach.
Technical Innovation: Leading the Transit Tracker to provide riders with better real-time data.
Operational Support: Providing the organization with the reliable follow-through needed to grow.

Tuesday, April 7, 2026 AT 7:00PM: Attend the virtual AGM via link you will be provided! Mike will be attending from the PWHL game, you can join from anywhere. You can leave once the board vote happens! Mike has a April 7th google calendar you can join HERE!
